| Carl Franzen was elected
Commodore for 1979. B.J. Hedge joined in September and began helping
administratively.
Bill Galle began instruction of the Advanced Sailing Course, on Tampa Bay, using the donated Solings. The Basic Sailing Course continued on Lake Orlando, at Rosemont Country Club, using smaller boats. Letters began going to all graduating student sailors, telling about The Sailing Club. At years end, there were 47 club members. |
