Dave Jarvis was Commodore in 1984 and membership was at 150.

This year the Club began offering Red Cross CPR courses to all interested members.   Also, 1984 was the first year that Sailing Club volunteers helped conduct the annual Citrus Bowl Regatta, which became the largest inland regatta in North America until it ended in 1996.   The annual Christmas party was at the Camelot Club House.

The Wine & Cheese Party for club member Ramon Folch's return to his home in Spain (AND Susie's red party dress!) is still remembered....

Commodore Dave Jarvis (r), with B.J. Hedge. Dave is presently living on his sailboat in the Harborage Marina.

When Ramon Folch returned to Spain in 1984, there was a Wine & Cheese party in his honor at B.J.'s place.  Ramon was our "European Chapter" for several years!

Club member Susie Nicola (now Susie Horsfall) and THE red dress.  Susie is now our "Michigan chapter"!
