The
Hunter 140 is used in the classes. The 140 is
stable, roomy boat that can comfortably accommodate 3 students and an
instructor.

is pictured
to the right.
At
left is a Laser 2.
Another vessel used for teaching is the Force 5, (on left) . This boat is similar to the Laser 2 picutred above.
To the right is a "470" which is much like the Laser 2 and the Force 5.
All of the boats can be easily handled by a single sailor but during the instruction, there are usually 2-3 crew members on each boat.
Regatta!!
This is the battle cry for sailors who love to race their boats. Regatts have "classes" where all boats of the same type participate in a contest to see who is the best and fastest sailor. The races are sometimes fast and furious!
The pictures to the right are Force 5's and Laser 21's, racing on blustery days, with thier crews working hard!
