The primary purpose of
The Club is to provide trained, certified sailing instructors to the
Community Sailing Program.
Other members assist in the waters sessions for the course.
The
meetings
are
scheduled for
7:00 - 9:00 PM the 4th Tuesday
of each month except December
The
Sailing Club holds a
monthly
business meeting, followed with a guest speaker, video or other
presentations of
general interest to sailors. You
are a cordially invited to
check out one
of our meetings as our guest.

The Sailing Program goals are to:
- Promote
the enjoyment of learning to sail safely in a group setting.
- Demonstrate
the proper methods of preparing a sailboat for sailing.
- Teach
the terminology for the parts of a sail boat and crew commands.
- To
have fun in a sailboat!
What else
does
the club do?
- Club
Racing is held with the
boats once a month, eight months of the year.
- Annual
Picnics Centered aound sailing. Check the Club Calendar.
- Large
boat charters are made 2 or 3 tmes
per year, both local and the Caribbean.
The Sailing
Club
Newsletter is published
bi-monthly via
email . It is a good way to keep up,
even if you can't attend the monthly meetings.
